Ron Stevenson
PrincipalRon Stevenson, a long-lived Rhode Islander, decided to start up his own company South County Architecture and Design in 2021. Ron has many achievements, he graduated from Boston Architectural College in 1994 and received his LEED Certification in 2004. On top of Ron’s dedicated to his firm he takes time out of his busy schedule to be an Adjunct Instructor at New England Institute of Technology. Ron also served as Chairman from 2010 – 2012. Over the last 35 years, Ron has worked on many award-winning projects noted for both design and functionality. His experience includes Multi-Family Housing, Commercial projects, Historic Renovation and Educational Facilities. Ron is creative, driven, and personable. In his free time, he likes to take his boat out on the water, relaxing with family and friends.
Nicole Braga
Office ManagerAs a lifelong Rhode Islander, Nicole has expanded her career here with South County Architecture & Design, Inc. Nicole is a 2021 graduate from New England Institute of Technology, majoring with her bachelor's in business management, she has a wide range of experience in the marketing field. From creating content for local small businesses and helping put together events, with great success. Nicole is an ambitious worker and during her studies at NEIT, she grew her connections locally, helping her to build up a network of like-minded individuals. Nicole has been an asset to our team by allowing us to grow organically on social media to client management and expanding business operations. In her free time, she enjoys curling up with a good book & spending time with family.
Tom Imondi
Project ManagerTom’s key role will be to take on all projects after Conceptual Design and manage the Design Development and Construction Drawing phase of the process. He will work and coordinate the production team to ensure the drawings are complete with all appropriate detailing. Tom will also assist in Construction Administration by visiting the site, collaborating with the contractors, and providing field reports, as necessary. He has over 40 years’ experience and has worked on numerous projects along the way. He spent his first 13 years in Construction which served him well on the detailing drawing side. Tom’s most complex and largest project to date was managing a 26-million-dollar renovation of and addition to the Department of Corrections Medium Security Facility. Tom graduated from Wentworth Institute in 1999. In his free time Tom enjoys riding his motorcycle and working in his home and yard in the woods.
Joseph Chiarella
Designer / DrafterJoey was born and raised on the East Coast; he is originally from Connecticut but decided to make the move to the beautiful scenic Rhode Island. Joey has started his career here at South County Architecture & Design, Inc. He is a current student at the New England Institute of Technology studying to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Building Engineering. Joey continues to build his skill set and learns more about the architecture field daily. He is currently an expert in 3D Modeling, Creating Renderings, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion and Sketching Blueprints. Joey has been an asset to our team and is always excited to learn more. In his free time, he enjoys drawing graphics & relaxing watching movies with family/friends.
Noah LaValley
Designer / DrafterNoah’s role is to assist in the design phase. He has collaborated with his local high school marching band, as the drumline instructor and prop build/designer for 4 years. Where fast problem solving, and effective communication skills were necessary. He enjoys collaborating with the team to create socially economically sustainable homes and communities. As a designer, he will be assisting with 3D computer modeling, renderings, presentation materials, and schematic design to assist with a range of projects from residential renovations to commercial properties. Noah recently received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture engineering, from the New England Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Noah enjoys going outside and enjoying nature be it hiking, kayaking or mountain biking. Or when the weather is not so good, he enjoys playing card games with friends.
